I am writing this about my husband Greg.  He is on dialysis and will be placed on the waiting list at Buffalo General Hospital.

Greg is from New Orleans originally.  After Hurricane Katrina he went back  to help rebuild.  His parents, sister, and grandmother were forced to relocate because of the destruction.  Greg is good with his hands and is an outdoors person.  He is an avid fisherman. 

Greg is an upbeat, positive person and he loves working with people.  Greg worked as a nurse's aide and was especially good with people who were suffering from kidney disease, helping them when they felt frightened and anxious.  He inspired them when he shared his story with them.  Greg is not able to work now, as he goes to dialysis three days a week and this is very draining.

If you are considering becoming a living donor, that is a wonderful thing. I want to see my husband healthy and well again.  A new kidney would change the lives of everyone in our entire family.
