HELP WANTED!!! 

Hi, I'm a 45 year old mother of two children, a daughter and a son. I have five grandchildren, three girls and two boys.

I'm a singer who has had the privilege of traveling in other parts of the world which is a blessing but I've been living with the oppression of diabetes. I was first diagnosed with it at age 8. I'm on the insulin pump and working hard daily to try to maintain proper blood sugars.

In March 2003 I suffered a heart attack and had a single bypass. I have been pretty good till now but my doctor now says my kidney function is down to 13%. I feel tired all the time and sleeping doesn't make me feel any better.

We thought I had a live kidney donor in my husband who is a perfect match but to both our chagrin he has high blood pressure and so can't donate.

(The swap program takes a live donor kidney in behalf of someone who they do not match and helps someone they match but moves the person they donated in behalf of to the top of the list for a kidney that matches them.)
