My name is Donald and I am 52 years old. I am one of four children. I grew up here in Riverside, New York. I have lived here my whole life. I worked for University of Buffalo Research Institute on Addiction as a building maintenance man for 23 and some years. I retired in 2005 of a disability that I have been carrying since I was younger. I was married for 30 years to a wonderful woman name Cheryl. My wife and I had three wonderful boys (Donald, Nick, Chris). We also have seven grandsons (Brandon, Junior, Chris, Nathan, Nicholas, Michael, Mathew) and one granddaughter (Cheyenne). In 2005, I lost my wife to breast cancer. Never thinking I would fall in love again I met a wonderful woman in 2006 named Teresa. With falling in love I gain 4 daughters (Tera, Ashley, Brittany, Haylee) and 2 granddaughters (Vanessah, Destinee). In the past two years I have lost my father and mother. I still have my sister and brother that I am very close to and adore very much. When I was 26 I was diagnosed with diabetes. Struggling with that ever since. When I was 42 I had my first heartache. I have had 5 stints since 1998. I'm presently on dialysis for my kidneys. Even though I have had a rough time in the past I still keep my chin up and look at the positives. I still have my family. And in the past in my spare time I used to go ice fishing, hunting, camping, traveling. Now it is difficult to go do those activities. I find myself doing a lot of doctors visits, dialysis, and spending the rest of my spare time with the family. I keep my spirit high and pray for the best.
