My name is Michelle and I'm 34 years old.

      I got diabetes 22 years ago. After the birth of my daughter, my kidneys failed and I had to start doing dialysis. I have had 2 transplants already but neither has lasted for very long. I'm back on the waiting list but am hoping for a living donor so that I might have better luck.

      My husband is not a match for me, but would be willing to trade with another family in the same situation.

      I keep busy with my kids and a part-time job. It would be great to have the energy to do more with my children.
